Twist your wrist to bring in the bass!

GyroMapper is a Max for Live device that takes the data from your iPhone or iPad and brings it into the Ableton Live DAW, allowing you to map each axis of rotation to any live device's macro controls. If a device parameter can be mapped to a macro control, it can be controlled by GyroMapper.

GyroMapper was intended for use by live electronic and electro-acoustic musicians, as well as a utility for producers who want to to automate parameters faster and more efficiently. Due to GyroMapper's customizability and the sensitivity of your phone's gyroscope sensor, it also has great potential for use in experimental music. 

As this is my first gumroad product, I am extremely motivated to ensure a positive experience for you! If you are having any difficulties, please send me an email and I will respond ASAP to help troubleshoot. If there is some unforeseen issue with the js or max code, I will gladly give you a refund out of my own pocket.  

*IMPORTANT

For now, you will have to purchase a third-party app called "GyrOSC" in order to use this device. It costs 1.39 CAD on the App Store. I am hoping to find/develop a free version as well as an android-compatible one in the future. 

You will also need a Ableton Live with Max for Live enabled, and a working internet connection.
